⚾ GNLL Volunteer Requirements

Required for ALL Volunteers (Little League & California Law)

STEP 1 – Start in Sports Connect

Before completing any requirements below, you must first log into your Sports Connect account (where you registered your child) and click on the Volunteer section to begin the process.

All volunteer clearances are initiated through your Sports Connect profile.

✔ JDP Background Check

Mandatory for all volunteers working with youth.

Complete Online Background Check

✔ Live Scan Fingerprinting

Required under California law for all youth sports volunteers. Conducted through Glendora Police Department (by appointment).

Schedule GPD Appointment

✔ Child Protection Training

Covers abuse prevention, reporting protocols, and athlete safety. Required through Little League online training.
